Review Title

Nah, one of my lovest game ever in isometric segment. Good old machanics, great visuals and atmosphere. I really suggest buying it, this game worth your money .

Relive the "Old Days"

This game, is pure love. This game is proof that some developers love their customers/supporters/etc. Obsidian Entertainment comes to the table and they let it fly! Great story, something that you can really get into. Characters that you begin to really feel like you know, and they grow on you. Beautifully crafted story and lore that just gives the player more hunger for it. This is a game that can take time from you and before you know it, its time for work and you haven't slept. Don't say that I didn't warn you.

Old School RPG for the Modern era

IF you were amongst the people disappointed by Dragon Age's turn to 3rd person, then this game will scratch that itch DA left and then some.

It has slightly different mechanics compared to Dragon Age, like health and edurance instead of just HP and you have limited amount of uses on spells that refill when you camp.

You also have a big deal of customization when it comes to your character and if feels like the choice you make have a big impact on the game.

Great combat and a great story makes this a must buy for any isometric RPG fan.

AMAZING!

This brings me back to my Baldurs Gate days.
Worth every single penny and every single minute i spent on the game.

Its a great spiritual successor to the Baldurs Gate games and you will not be dissappointed in the least.

Old school awsomeness

I simply loved this game. I played like 65 houras already, I have lot to go yet.
If you like games like baldurs gate, nerverwinter nights, wasteland 2 and that kind of games. This is your game.

I would recommend not to create characters for your party and used the default NPC, because npc companions participate on the story and make comments about the mission. Of course they are not as strong as characters you would create yourself. since the attirbute distribution for the npc characters its pretty bad. Also normal dificullty it not a walk in the park.

Old School RPG that rulez

I can give nothing but 5 stars to this game. I have got seriously addicted to this game and last time that happened was during Neverwinter Nights. Iam not going to talk anything that could spoils something. So all i say if you like AD&D, Baldurs Gate,Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age... you have to buy this because you will love it.

Blown away

In place of Neverwinter Nights 3, I'll take this any day. This is a great game that feels just like the classics: Baldur's Gate and Icewindale. The interface is familiar and the mechanics are almost a direct port and major upgrade. The game feels very much like a spin-off of DnD, even borrowing some names from the books, however it has it's own appeal. Besides the stellar writing and design, the game also brings a pen and paper feel that you just don't see in any other modern RPG's. Conversations have meaning and can not only build your moral and ethical compasses, but can actually construct your character's very background. On that note, the instances of role-playing are genius. There are scenes in which you will have to make choices, but they will not be a Quick Time Event or a video. The choices are made from an in depth description of a scene and several ambiguous choices, leaving "right and wrong" out the window and creating a much more dynamic, believable scenario.

The game is great overall and I would highly recommend this to fans of the old series, roleplaying, or even strategy games.
