    Rating: 1/10
    Played on: PC (Steam)

Man, where do I even start with Black Ops 7? This has to be the biggest disappointment in Call of Duty history. I was hyped after Black Ops 6 (which was actually decent), but this feels like they took BO6, slapped some half-baked "innovations" on it, and called it a full $70 game. Nah, it's glorified DLC at best, trash at worst.
First off, the campaign – holy crap, what were they thinking? Always-online co-op only, no pausing if you're solo, no checkpoints, and you get kicked for "inactivity" if you dare take a 30-second break. I tried playing alone and died to some bullet-sponge boss because my internet hiccuped for a second – back to the start of the whole mission. No thanks. The story is a confusing mess of sci-fi nonsense, cartoon villains, and it straight-up disrespects the old Black Ops characters. Feels like AI wrote half of it. Forbes called it the worst campaign ever? Spot on. It's embarrassing.
Multiplayer is sweaty hell. Maps are okay-ish, omnimovement is back (cool in theory), but every lobby is full of movement demons bunny-hopping with the same meta guns (Maddox or whatever the laser is this week). TTK is way too fast, spawns are broken – I spawn and immediately get shot in the back. Audio is garbage, can't hear footsteps at all. Servers? Constant packet burst, lag spikes, even on "dedicated" ones. Cheaters everywhere, aimbot kids running rampant, and Ricochet does nothing. SBMM is cranked so hard that casual games feel like pro tournaments. I just want to chill after work, not get farmed by sweats every match.
Zombies is the only part that's sorta okay, but even that's boring after a few rounds. Same old formula, no real new ideas, and the endgame extraction stuff is dull AF with people leaving constantly.
And don't get me started on the monetization. BlackCell, bundles for every gun skin, battle pass full of filler – it's greedy as hell. Game launched feeling incomplete, and now they're patching in AI-generated calling cards or whatever. Player count is already tanking.
Steam reviews are Mostly Negative for a reason. Metacritic user score is in the toilet (like 1.9 or something). Critics gave it okay scores, but us real players know the truth – this is the lowest point for CoD. Feels like Activision doesn't care anymore, just pumping out live-service slop.
Save your money. Go play BO2, BO3, or even BO6 again. Anything but this dumpster fire.
Avoid. 1/10. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
