Why Early Access? “Satellite Reign was made possible through the support of the backers of our Kickstarter campaign in 2013. Since then, our small team has been pouring our lives into making Satellite Reign a reality.

The next step is to get feedback from players on which systems they like, and what needs improvement. We've started this with our Pre-Alpha Access phases from our Kickstarter, but it's now time to start hearing from more voices.” Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access? “We plan to launch Satellite Reign in its entirety in the first half of 2015. However, we plan to continue updating the title after the full release.” How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version? “Satellite Reign is an open-world, non-linear game, set in a cyberpunk city. The city is divided into four main districts, each one themed and controlled by different factions. This initial release contains the entirety of the first district, the Downtown District.

All of the districts have been built, but the Downtown District is designed as the first area players will explore, and so we feel it is the best area to serve as a test-bed for our core mechanics.

The following is a short list of a few of the features available in the current Early Access build.

1. All four player agent classes.


2. Agent skill and ability upgrades.


3. Cover-system for both players and NPCs.


4. Mission/quest system.


5. Weapon loudouts and upgrades.


6. Gear/item researching.


7. Destructible cover.

The following is a list of features which are presently being implemented, but not currently included in this build for balance and stability reasons.

1. Agent cloning.


2. Additional skills, abilities, weapons, items, etc.


3. Factional relationships.


4. Propaganda system.


5. Playable tutorial mission.


6. Iron-Man Mode.


7. Localisation.
